Little Richard's BBQ

The first Little Richard's BBQ was opened in 1991. It was opened by Nick Karagiorgis and Gary Sizemore on Country Club Road in Winston-Salem. Their mission was to serve the BBQ that North Carolina is known for. They accomplished this by putting time and dedication into their craft. The co-owner Nick and his staff smoke their whole pork shoulders for 16 hours to bring out the best flavors by cooking it at such low flavors. In traditional southern style this is all smokes with hickory hard wood. To top it off tenderly pull the meat off the bone and then glaze the meat in their homemade Lexington-style BBQ sauce. This signature sauce and the other recipes they use at the restaurant have been passed down through generations of native North Carolina cooks. It's these amazing recipes that made Little Richard's BBQ so popular and led it to expand into multiple locations including the towns Clemmons, Walkertown, Yadkinville, and Mt. Airy. 

Those visiting Cana, Virginia can visit the nearby Mt Airy location for a taste of the delicious BBQ. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Their menu includes a variety of Appetizers, Salads, Sandwiches, Pitmaster Plates, Sides, and Desserts.
